GPOY | Impulse Purchases
My mission was simple this past week: acquire jewel tone blue dress for Nowruz and get haircut so I could look like a proper lady when I present myself to my relatives from weeks of academic solitude.
I procured neither. Instead, I decided to add a cream denim vest to my spring wardrobe, gold and blue textured bangles and, of course, a copy of NdGTyson’s Space Chronicles: Facing the Ultimate Frontier.
Close enough.
Lee taught me that if you don’t believe in it, then you shouldn’t do it because you can’t stand behind it. He was brilliant because he would always say, “Things don’t stand still. It has to go forward.”
